Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for coordinating facility maintenance personnel to supportworkloads, projects and shutdowns at all company facilities.Review and coordinate work orders with Management Team, Production andFacilities Maintenance Technicians, Project Managers and internal customersto support daily manufacturing and facilities operations, processes andprojects. Determine urgency, estimated completion and priority status,update and correct descriptive content.Responsible for contractor planning and scheduling to assist facilitymaintenance.Responsible for overall scheduling and planning for company shutdownactivities and other scheduled maintenance.Use CMMS, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project for planning,scheduling and reporting all maintenance activities.Provide support to Facilities Administrative Coordinator.Responsible for ongoing contact with internal customers for work orderquestions, issues and scheduling.Initiate specific work orders and instructions which support the handling andinstallation of manufacturing and research equipment based on the customer'sscope and requirements.Serve as a lead in the development of work management and execution processimprovements.Compile and analyzes data, prepares reports and makes recommendations forchanges and/or improvements related to facilities and production maintenance.Maintain parts system, parts inventory levels, and pre-kit parts for jobs.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and/orISO 9001 calibration system requirementsProcedure writing and review skillsFunctional skill with MS Office applicationsThorough knowledge of maintenance activities and expertise in CMMS (BlueMountain, Maximo, etc.)Ability to prioritize, schedule and logistically support multiple projectsin a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and make independent decisionsAbility to work with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with a variety of the pharmaceutical industry's concepts,processes, and procedures, including cGMPsAbility to assess and define problems, establish facts and draw validconclusionsAbility to comprehend written, graphic and quantitative informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical skillsAbility to work independently with general instructions on new projectsAbility to work well with employees and outside contractorsValid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordCore ValuesThe Maintenance Planner / CMMS Administrator is expected to operate withinthe framework of Tolmar's Core Values:Consistently operate with the highest standards of ethics and compliance.Take ownership of your actions, success and setbacks.Respect each other and understand that honest collaboration is at the heart ofour company success.Go the extra mile to make things happen.Be committed to all we do and the patients we serve.Embrace change with enthusiasm.Strive to learn about and understand the needs of customers and patients,and take action with great speed and efficiency no matter the task. Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Experience working in a Planner / Scheduler capacity in a pharmaceutical ormedical device environment strongly preferred.Five or more years of experience with facilities and / or productionmaintenance in a regulated industry, preferably manufacturer of sterile drugproducts and/or medical devices required.Experience utilizing an automated PM scheduling, work order, spareparts, and calibration software package (Maximo preferred).cGMP audit management preferred.Compensation and BenefitsHourly pay range $36 to $40Link to general benefitsinformation: https://www.tolmar.com/careers/employee-benefitsWorking ConditionsLaboratory and manufacturing environment.
