Job Title: Maintenance ManagerMusts: A pre-employment drug test with a negative result and backgroundcheck will be required. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License.Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of five yearsexperience in maintenance of complex building systems or a related fielddesired. Some college related classes highly desired. HVAC certification,certified journeyman electrician, and/or previous contracting experiencehighly preferred. Previous managerial experience is a bonus.Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: Strong knowledge of engineering design,including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanicalsystems. Experience in planning maintenance operations. Proficiency withcomputers, particularly email and typical office software. Excellent writtenand oral communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational andleadership abilities. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationshipswith staff members. Competent in problem solving, team building, planningand dDuties: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing dailymaintenance, janitorial duties, and functional operation of all of theemployer's facilities. Maintenance Manager will ensure that departmentemployees have the resources available to complete their duties within theavailable budgeted revenues. Duties include oversight of janitorialoperations, maintaining facilities, planning and implementing repairs,developing maintenance schedules and procedures and developing facilitymaintenance plans. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will develop acapital improvements plan to address deferred maintenance and futuremaintenance needs. This position will manage general maintenance personneland work closely with other departments and Elected Officials. Thisposition works under direct supervision of the Public Works Director.Pay: The starting salary is $40,000 - $50,000 per year.Benefits: This position qualifies for employer offered benefits.Start Date: Upon hireShift: Primarily Monday-Friday, days but as this is a supervisory positionso some position coverage outside standard schedule may occur.
