Job Title: Electronics Technician Maintenance II
Job Description:
Provides electronic communications systems operational, maintenance, repair, and new install support to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). Works independently or with a team to provide digital and analog electronic services support to include, but not limited to: CCTV, Broadcasting, cable TV, Land Mobile Radio, Access Control sytems, Public Address audio, security, and classroom A/V support. Provides on-call support as required. Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, tests, and removes/replaces electronic communication equipment and systems. Provides subject matter expertise to the 10th Communications Squadron for emerging technologies and other communications system/software purchases.
Required Skills/Education:
2 years experience with military communications and access control systems.
Working knowledge of military customs and courtesies.
Experience with Monitor Dynamics (Mondyn/MDI) is preferred
OSHA and/or BICSI certifications are preferred
Education: High School or GED Equivalent
Years- Experience: 2 Years
Travel: No
Security Clearance Required: Must have Active Secret clearance to apply.
