(Many of our executives wereonce techs)Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:Performing vehicle maintenance to First Vehicle Services Standards ofExcellence.Communicating professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.Diagnosing all phases of vehicle and equipment repair.Working with all vehicle components to include but not exclusive to,engine, driveline, electrical, brakes, suspension, steering,exhaust, cab, chassis, and hydraulics.Ensuring work orders are completed accurately, properly using state of theart paperless maintenance system.Evaluating completed work prior to release.Performing road calls and emergency services as necessary.Moving vehicles safely between job and work area.Actively participating in safety and educational training as required.Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:Technical school training is a plus!At least 1 year of previous diesel truck or equipment maintenance and repairexperience in an established for profit shop or public sector shop.Valid driver's licenseAppropriate mechanic's tool setASE certifications preferred.
