Three Brothers Concrete Construction General Laborer in Thornton, Colorado

Three Brothers Concrete, located at 8150 Steele Street Thornton CO 80229(ph:(720)872-0443) is seeking 10 full-time temporary constructionlaborers beginning work on 04/01/2020 and ending 11/30/2020. Dutieswill includClean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Signalequipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment ofmachinery, equipment, or materials. Dig ditches or trenches, backfillexcavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, usingpicks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes. Measure, mark, orrecord openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will beperformed. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, ortools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according toproject plans or specifications. Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring,braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers,nails, or bolts. Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment,or tools. Provide assistance to craft workers, such ascarpenters,ironworkers, or finishers. Mop, brush, or cleaningsolutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provideprotection. Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces. Employer willprovide all needed equipment and supplies to perform duties at no charge toemployee. Employees must pass a drug test prior to employment.Employer expects a Monday - Friday schedule from 9:00am - 5:00 pm, butdue to the nature of work, days/times may vary due to factors such asweather. Work will be conducted in the following counties: Douglas,Larimer, Arapahoe, Jefferson, Boulder, Adams, Broomfield, and Weld.Standard pay will be $18.32, and if overtime is legally required, itwill be paid at a rate of $27.48. Pay will be issued at least once every twoweeks, typically on Friday by the end of the work day, and a single workweek will be used to compute. . The Employer will make all deductions frompaychecks that are required by law, and will alsomake reasonable deductions for housing expenses, including a pro rata rateof monthly rental cost, utility cost, and security deposit cost (thatwill be reimbursed upon departure if returned to the employer by landlord. Theemployer will provide this option to applicants, and the exact amount of thededuction will be dependent on the total number of employees splitting therental payment, as this will be a shared living arrangement between multipleemployees.Employer will reimburse within the first week of employment all visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, and other related fees, as mandated, andnot exceeding mandated reimbursements. If the worker completes 50% of thework contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportationand subsistence. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker isdismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonablecosts of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not returndue to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economicaland reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistencewill be provided at a rate of $12.46 per day during travel to a maximum of$55.00 per day with receipts.
