Havingfun, collaborating with teammates and changing the world is the dailyactivity.Responsibilities* Partner with team members to drive efficiency and resolve complexissues.* Support new Level 1 Associate Technician and existing Level 2Technicians in adopting Tesla repair methods as described in Internal ServiceDocumentation* Performs the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electricvehicles* Operate a variety of hand, power, shop tools and automotive andelectrical test equipment* Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications* May involve the performance of Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) ofnew cars* Maintain records of time and materials* Assist in maintaining cleanliness of customer cars* Support apprentice technicians as needed* Knowledge of: Methods, techniques, parts, tools andmaterials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.* Efficient skills in automotive techniques related to repair andservicing of automobiles.* Perform mid to high-level work in the inspection, repair, andservice of Tesla electric vehicles* Perform other related duties as assignedRequirements* Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, andmeet deadlines* Ability to identify issues and make recommendations to improveexisting processes.* Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve commongoals.* Customer centric orientation with big picture focus* Keen to adopt new repair methods with little to no hesitation* Motivated to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment.* Demonstrates a safety first attitude* Methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in themaintenance and repair of vehicles including testing, diagnosis, HVACservice, hydraulic, brakes, testing and repair of electronic systems andmodule* Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electricalschematics[UU1]* Experience using scan tools, following diagnostics and operatingscopes/DVOM equipment* Excellent Oral and Written communication required.* Computer skills - ability to navigate through various softwareapplications.Minimum Qualifications* High School Diploma, Associate Degree or Certificate,Bachelor's Degree preferredOr Work experience in a related technology space (Aeronautics,Engines, Electrical, ships etc.)* Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to change* Basic command of the English Language* Basic computer use expertise (Excel, Web Browsers, Word)* Valid Driver's license (this is required to be able to drivecustomer vehicles in/out-side the ServiceCenter)Employee BenefitsAs a full time Tesla employee you will receive full benefits from day 1 foryou and your dependents.Kaiser and UnitedHealthcare PPO and HSA plans (including infertility coverage)3 medical plan choices with $0 paycheck contributionVision and dental plans (including orthodontic coverage)Company paid Life, ADandD, short-term and long-term disability401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefitsEmployee Assistance Program, Paid Time Off, and Paid HolidaysBack-up childcare and employee discountsTesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed todiversity in the workplace.
