Quality Systems Coordinator SteelmakingAt EVRAZ, our strength starts with our people! As a team we collaborate tosolve problems, contribute ideas and challenge each other to ensure growthand ultimately success for the business and our employees.As a Quality Systems Coordinator, you will maintain the Quality AssuranceSystem including, but not limited to, recording and updating daily qualityassurance and ISO 9001-2015, maintaining claim log, customer database,test report database, scheduling, and training records, and job manuals,including all administrative functions.Additional responsibilities include:* Internal and external process and product audits* Maintaining training records* Maintaining the SOPs which includes contacting/training the workforcewhen changes are made* Management of the calibration system* Issuing and recording process deviations* Initiating, following, and distributing Trials and their results* Participating in and leading process improvement projects* Reporting daily and monthly Quality Index information* Preparing data and information for Management Review* Helping to communicate information associated with product quality andimprovements to the workforce* Maintaining all Quality documentation in a highly organized fashion* Helping with the daily management and maintenance of the quality systemwhich can include assignments that may require off-hour or weekend work* Maintaining the procedures* Maintaining scrap recipes, evaluating performance changes, reason, andauditing of chargesRequirements* Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent experience;Metallurgy/Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or MechanicalEngineering preferred* Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel* Proven written and verbal communication skills, including Quality Manualand Second-Tier Procedure Writing skills* Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills* Strong leadership and managerial skills* Strong problem-solving and proven decision-making skills* Ability to interact with all levels of our organization* Ability to communicate professionally with EVRAZ customers* Ability to work in a team environment with proven interpersonal skills* Understanding of Steel mill processes: Rail, Rod and Bar, Seamless,Steel-making* Initiative to identify areas, propose and initiate solutions* Ability to multitask* Experience in the management of 6S projects* Two years of Quality Assurance experience, preferred* Familiar with Quality Management systems, preferred* Certified Quality Auditor, preferred* Experience in ISO 9001/Quality Systems, preferredCompensation* $56,300 - $70,000Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!* A bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational andindividual performance* Family medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage at minimalemployee cost* Short and long term disability programs* Retirement Account contributions and (401k) with employer match* Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* Employer-provided Group Life and Voluntary Life Insurance options* Paid vacations, sick time, and 10 paid holiday days per year* Apprenticeship and career advancement within the company* Tuition reimbursement* Wellness programAll applicants must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.While we thank all those who apply, only those being actively considered foremployment will be contacted.Equal Opportunity EmployerEVRAZ North America is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
