Amentum Planning and Scheduling Supervisor in Pueblo, Colorado
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / TASKS
Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
May be required to work overtime or varying hours.
Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.
Work in close proximity to and or in a chemical demilitarization facility.
Oversee procedure development and implementation.
Document employee performance issues and participate in resolutions as appropriate.
Assume mentoring and training roles as requested.
Review and approve output from project cost and schedule systems. Prepare or review presentations based on system output.
Create or assist with cost schedule baseline.
Conduct or assist in performance measurement and associated cost trending.
Prepare and assist in various levels of project reporting.
Key contributor in the preparation of monthly status reports.
Assume lead role in monthly production of revised project cost forecasting.
Utilize extensive knowledge of construction contracting including the manner in which contract type effects implementation of Project Controls systems.
Review performance trends, prepare analysis and cost impact and monthly project performance reports, and recommend contractor invoices for approval.
Evaluate manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
Knowledgeable of scope control and change management.
Maintain tracking database to ensure subcontractor funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures.
Involved in directing and implementing the tracking system to ensure Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status.
Seek approval counsel as required to meet project requirements.
Produce Variance Analysis Reports (VARs).
Prepare adjustments to Estimates to Complete (ETCs).
Develop, maintain, and update Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
Develop, maintain, and update Integrated Network Analysis System (INAS).
Develop, maintain, and update Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS).
Prepare Cost Performance Reports (CPRs).
Prepare Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSRs).
Conduct and prepare special studies, reports and charts as required.
Staffing plan development and maintenance.
Perform complex aspects of Project Controls that require selection and modification of Project Controls techniques and procedures.
Must be able to interpret complex information and disseminate in an understandable manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESAssign, supervise and direct work activities of assigned personnel. Responsible for performance evaluations of assigned personnel. Responsible for training and development of assigned personnel. Counsel assigned personnel on company policies, procedures, performance and personnel issues. Initiate and justify personnel actions and recommend salary adjustments. Other: Review work of assigned personnel for compliance with policies and procedures, effectiveness of coordination, technical accuracy, safety, security, and for attainment of objectives.

REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in engineering, construction, business or equivalent and 10 years experience with engineering, procurement and construction projects or operating industrial facilitiesOr
Associate degree in engineering, construction, business or equivalent and 14 years experience with engineering, procurement and construction projects or operating industrial facilitiesOr
High school diploma/equivalent and 18 years experience with engineering, procurement and construction projects or operating industrial facilitiesMinimum Qualifications:
Must be a US or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain PCAPP site access.
Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment.
Must have both cost and schedule experience with at least 2 years in whichever discipline is secondary.
5 years of field experience.
Exhibit expert ability to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data.
Possess knowledge of construction accounting principles with an extensive understanding of the manner in which the company establishes and documents the financial position.
Experienced with earned value monitoring including calculation and analysis.
Experience interacting with field supervisors and project management personnel regarding schedule generation and maintenance.
Extensive experience with critical path analysis and resolution.
Preferred QualificationsDesired Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a technical organization of at least 2 planning/scheduling analyst personnel to support corporate and project requirements. This includes personnel decisions; merit increases and other personnel management efforts.
Some expertise in company sanctioned Project Controls applications and systems
Experience with schedule risk assessment software programs, and the ability to analyze the results of these programs.
Experience with scheduling software programs and their interface with cost programs.
