The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Mixing Operator I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Operates mixing and weighing equipment and machines.
Locates, picks and stages raw materials.
In accordance with manufacturing orders and procedures, weighs, mixes and processes dry ingredients used in the formulation of all material matrixes used in the department.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
Work First Shift (6AM – 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday), ability to work on weekends, working overtime, rotating shifts, and/or short notice shift coverage
Requires having taken and scored Medium or High on the MESP test
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Performs at an acceptable level to meet quantity and quality requirements in order to continue employment: probationary period is 3 months.
Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and communicate in English
Experience in a manufacturing, private, public, government or military environment, preferably in non-woven fibers, web coating or a related industry.
Requires production and inspection experience to perform duties. Operate equipment following department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
