BURNCO is looking to add a skilled Maintenance Technician to our Colorado team in Milliken. Someone who drives change and takes pride in their high-quality workmanship and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. What you will be doing:
Perform general maintenance tasks of all facilities including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials in various forms of maintenance activities
Includes basic electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, metal fabrication, etc.
Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Complete basic duties inclusive of maintenance equipment operation to accomplish tasks required of projects
Updates repair procedures for future use and to communicate project status
Utilize power tools, hand tools, mowers, tractors, shovels, welding tools, cutting torches and various safety devices to complete work orders
Identify maintenance repair opportunities and safety concerns, work to eliminate/fix, escalate to Maintenance Supervisor if additional resources required
Complete required paperwork on time and correctly
Reality of the Job:
You might work long hours during peak times
You may work Saturdays, especially during peak season
Requirements
What we would like from you:
Basic math, electrical, plumbing and hydraulic skills
Excellent hand-eye coordination, comfortable working at high elevation and can problem solve by looking and listening
Ability to work as a team member and follow through with scheduled tasks and instructions
Able to use a wide variety of hand tools and troubleshoot repairs
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
At least one year of related experience

Bonus Eligibility: AnnualHour Bank Bonus Accrual
Hourly Pay Range: $21 - $23
