Position: HVAC TechnicianCompensation: Salary range $20.00 $29.04/hour. No On-call or weekends. Alltools provided.Job Summary (this is a brief description, it is not compressive): Leads the installation and/or repair of heating equipment,ductwork, and water heaters. Troubleshoots and diagnoses a wide variety of residential HVAC equipment. Safely operates hand and power tools Operates and understands the use of HVAC diagnostic equipment such ascombustion analyzer, water column, manometer, etc. Tracks material and labor time usage Maintains a clean and organized vehicle and worksite Completes accurate file paperwork, as necessary Interacts with clients in a respectful, competent and professional manner Available to flexibly work with weatherization crews/auditors as necessaryPhysical Requirements:Applicant must be able to lift up to 60lbs. and occasionally 75lbs. Must beable to maneuver and perform work in tight spaces with a minimum of 24 ofvertical clearance, work on roofs and ladders up to 35 feet in height. Whileperforming job related duties applicant will be required to sit, stand,kneel, crouch, crawl, demonstrate manual dexterity, speak, hear, and see.Minimum Qualifications/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent.1 year of experience in HVAC service work.Licensing/Certification Requirements:Candidates must have a valid Colorado driver s license or the ability toobtain one within two weeks of hiring and no major violations within past 3years. Candidates must be able to obtain a BPI certification within 12 months(training and certification costs are supplied by ERC). Candidates mustpass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana).
