Acara Solutions is hiring a Lead Orbital Tube Welder in Louisville, CO insupport of a space systems program.Responsibilities will include:Capable of leading a group through the build and test processes to supportproduction efforts.Works with the program to help support production schedule.Advise in the development of standards and weld schedules. Development of weldprocesses and procedures. Perform Flight welds on space flight hardware andvehicles.Completes parts lists, checks drawings, generates and processesengineering/document change requests, notices, and/or orders and othergeneral engineer tasking with direction from Engineers.Troubleshoots equipment using standard documentation packages includingassembly drawings and schematics.Required Skills / Qualifications:High School DiplomaCertified in Weld TechnologyPossess 10 years of experience with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).Minimum of two years' experience with orbital tube welding systems.General knowledge of CNC tube bending practices.Preferred Skills / Qualifications:Experience with COPV handling and usage is desirable.Applicants for this position must be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates.
