Apex Systems is looking for multiple Material Technicians to work at ourclient's site in Longmont, CO. This is a great entry level role for anyonelooking to start a career within production or manufacturing. The spot is anongoing contract that can renew every three months, although this spot willnot turn into a perm role with our client, it can open up doors to apply forother roles on the team! If you have at least 1 year of solid workexperience, and are looking to break into the manufacturing industry applynow!Job Duties:Set up and operate a variety of process equipment.Prepare solid chemical components for use in electrophotographic applications.Weigh, measure and prepare proper proportions for batches in a continuousprocess.Make equipment adjustments to temperature, pressure or cycle time as needed.Handle aluminum cylinders on trays, loading trays of parts into and out ofautomated equipment, moving pallets of uncoated and coated cylinders,monitor and responding to messages from the process control computers thatcontrol the automated equipment.Perform a variety of routine tasks such as housekeeping, minor preventativemaintenance and continuous improvement activities using lean tools.Follow Standard Work instructions to perform daily tasks.Input, track and interpret process data to ensure quality product is beingproduced.Work in a team environment and communicate effectively.Job Requirements:1 year of work experienceHS or GED to be eligible to apply for client positions in the future, noeducation requirement for contractFlexible and reliable individualPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in a dusty environment.Ability to work with toner and raw material chemical components for theproduction of toner.Ability to wear appropriate required PPE effectively. (Safety glasses withside shields or safety goggles, steel toed shoes, and appropriate gloves.Pass annual medical respirator exam or wear alternate respirator (PAPR isacceptable)Ability to routinely lift and carry approximately 45lbs as frequently as everyhalf hour.Stand for approximately 6.5 hours per day (frequent opportunities to sitdown briefly in the work area)Ability to push/pull with approximately 50 lbs of force (movement ofequipment or raw materials) as frequently as 16 times per shift.Reach overhead to lift and move up to 25 lbs; (Input finishing componentsinto feeders.) as frequently as every hour.Routine reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, or otherawkward postures while cleaning area or vessels.Ability to routinely climb several flights of stairs as frequently as 6 timesper hour.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
