Description: The selected individual will perform important duties and responsibilities of a Quality Assurance (QA) Professional supporting the RF and Antenna Center (RAC). This individual will be an integral part of the RAC Quality Team, having a positive, direct effect on the accurate and successful completion of all flight hardware.

This individual will perform a variety of activities to ensure the accurate and timely completeness of test operations in support of manufacturing. Including but not limited to: familiarity with specifications, sketches, engineering drawings, schematics, test procedures and manufacturing process plans. Tracks and controls hardware non-conformance and anomaly documentation. Actively participates during test set-up through data review, ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to test processes, policies and procedures.

Successful candidates will be able to perform all assigned tasks based on demonstrated, certified skills, and abilities necessary to inspect both ground and flight electronic assemblies; including Battery, Microelectronics (RF / hybrids), Antenna and acceptance test with exceptional attention to detail. Prepare paper and electronic documentation on non-conforming hardware. A continuous improvement mindset, focus on world class quality, and the ability to work effectively with a team are also key.

Must be willing to work off shifts and non-standard work weeks as needed to meet product deliverables, including

overtime as required.

Basic Qualifications:

1.) High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training sufficient enough to perform required basic calculations, electronic / mechanical assembly / test, computer operations, etc.

2.) Must be able to read and comprehend detailed work instructions as well as interpret drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications and standards.

3.) Willing and able to work first shift, second shift, extended hours, weekends, and holidays depending on production needs.

Desired Skills:

1.) Previous industry related certifications to include: Hardware Torqueing, Adhesive Bonding, Polymerics,

2.) Technical aptitude or experience in fabrication or quality assurance of Battery, Micro-Electronics (RF / Hybrids), Antenna or Acceptance Testing.

3.)Working knowledge of SAP and Automation Framework
