Quality Control/Inspection Technician I
In this role you will perform routine visual, mechanical, functional and dimensional inspection on a variety of products using various test equipment. The Inspector will decide whether or not the parts conform to specifications, document these decisions and supporting data.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experienced knowledge on use of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, pin gages etc.)
Basic reading and understanding of engineering drawings and be able to identify CTQ's and associated tolerances
Perform and document inspection (visual, dimensional, mechanical) to internal and/or customer requirements
Review quality documentation files (Device History Records (DHR) and Inspection History Records) for completeness and accuracy for lot release
Identify and document potential non-conforming product
Interface with other departments, to address and resolve any product related issues
Assist in writing or revising standard operational procedures
Complete tasks accurately and on-time, paying close attention to detail
A US Person and must be able to read and communicate in English
High attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
General knowledge of human anatomy (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, & Office)
Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Range: 14.81 - 20.72 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.

High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years previous production experience with good manufacturing practices is required
0-2 years previous quality inspection experience, Medical Device and/ or aerospace preferred.
Normal 40-hour workweek with potential OT based on seasonal workload or expedited orders
First Shift 9:00am – 5:30pm
