Lockheed Martin Mechanic A - Refrigeration in Littleton, Colorado
Description: Selected candidate must be a motivated self starter, and have at least five years of commercial industrial HVAC experience. Must have a wide range of skills to service a wide spectrum of infra-structure equipment. All Candidates must have a Universal CFC EPA certification and demonstrate knowledge of EPA Regulations and Clean Air Act. Refrigeration background should include ability to repair service and order materials, layout and install commercial refrigeration and A/C piping systems and equipment based on engineered drawings. Candidate will have experience and skills to work with medium and low voltage equipment. Candidate must be able to work with electronic DDC, pneumatic and low voltage controls. Low temp storage and food service experience helpful, and cascade experience desirable. Centrifugal/screw/reciprocating chiller operation, diagnostic skills and repair experience are necessary, tear down experience helpful. Maintain proper chemical treatment of open and closed loop piping systems, and maintain and periodically clean cooling towers. Work with level controllers and sensors on cooling towers and rundown tanks. Technician will also need to communicate with equipment and parts suppliers to research replacement parts or repair information on an as needed basis.
EPA Universal certification
Valid Colorado Drivers license.
5 years combined experience in heavy commercial/industrial experience, and/or low and medium voltage experience, and/or electric/pneumatic/DC/DDC controls, and/or installation and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, and/or medium and low temperature storage experience, and/or Centrifugal/screw chiller operation and repair, and/or Chemical water treatment experience, and/or clean room control experience, and/or Commercial humidification experience, and/or Computer room A/C experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Must be able to work shifts in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
Must be able to maintain all certifications as required.
Customer Service, Cascade refrigeration experience, Commissioning Process experience, VFD repair experience, integrated building experience, Network communications, DDC programming experience, OEM/Vendor interface skills.
