3D Systems, Inc. Customer Service Specialist in Littleton, Colorado

*Job Summary:*The Customer Support Technician ensures optimum operational performance for hardware related to Simulators received from customers. The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for managing the order process. The individual will serve as a highly visible intermediary between the customer and internal departments.

_Responsibilities:_

  • Work independently and proactively provide technical and phone support to surgical customers

  • Understands how the customer uses the product

  • Maintain office supply inventories

  • Enter orders in Oracle

  • Obtain shipping documents

  • Repairs customer equipment

  • Knows unique customer requirements

  • Understands the cost of system failure to the customer

  • Professional customer communication skills

  • Protocol for office, lab, manufacturing environments

  • Maintain demo equipment and parts inventory

  • Provides timely and accurate documentation on services performed

  • Understanding of unique customer configuration – materials and software used

  • Awareness of customer’s expertise, capability and willingness to do self-maintenance

  • Performs preventive maintenance as directed by Service Manager

  • Understands the value of the customers’ total business to 3D Systems

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $48,400 - $67,700 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)

  • In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.

_Education and Training:_

  • High school required; AA degree from a technical school preferred

_Experience:_

  • Two to five years’ related experience

  • Oracle experience a significant plus

_Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:_

  • Proficient in troubleshooting, configuration, installation and repair of electronic systems and computers, as well as a solid mechanical aptitude

  • Oracle experience a significant plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word

  • Solid knowledge of electro/mechanical device repair with attention to detail

  • Requires skills in organization, problem solving, and customer relations

  • Ability to speak effectively before customers and act in an advisory capacity

  • Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in the business environment and a commitment to professionally represent 3D Systems with its customers

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines with multiple interruptions

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
