SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
The E-Technician – Operator position is a very intensive technical support role that requires many diverse disciplines in the world of process controls and applied automation. This role will provide technical support and operations and guidance to all regions. Support and train regional staff in the examination, diagnosis and/or troubleshooting of chemical generation and electrical equipment for defects in operation as well as create and maintain preventative maintenance procedures for chemical generation and electrical components. E-Technician - Operator will also assist in the implementation and training of all technologies
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct walk arounds to pull samples and check meters and gauges on equipment
Ensure daily operations are in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations
Communicate with customers and third-party vendors, as well as other internal customers
Maintain daily housekeeping at the work site
Provide excellent customer service
Provide intensive technical support with process controls and applied automation
Provide hands-on training and mentorship to regional technical/operational support teams
Coordinate operational inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce failures/down-time
Provide hands-on guidance to regional employees and 3rd party contractors with the creation and implementation of new technologies
Provide on-site technical expertise to employees, customers and 3rd party contractors
Provide up-to-date and actual technology status report(s) to Corporate manager of Operations
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Follow Bosque Disposal Systems LLC policies and procedures
Inform supervisor promptly of any issues
Must stay on location at all times to maintain oversight of the unit

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities
Ability to read, write, use basic math and computer skills
High school diploma or GED
All current safety certifications
Ability to obtain Bosque Dionix Technician Certification
Ability to obtain Bosque Dionix Operator Certification
Ability to obtain Bosque Dionix Multi-Tech Operator Certification
5+ Years of experience in supporting, implementing, mobilizing, troubleshooting, calibrating, installing, replacing, upgrading, testing, operating, training chemical, electrical and mechanical processes that are used in the treatment of water used in the hydraulic fracturing process.
Experience in how off site water treatment plants and processes, as well as on site treatments work that supply treated water to the hydraulic fracturing process.
Experience in Applied Automation with PLC and Software State Machines:
0-30 mA / 24 VDC
Must know how to program, calibrate, install, trouble shoot and train operators on how to use the instrumentation.
Must have experience in the installation of wireless networks and RF systems that use LOS to transmit data for communications across different platforms.
Oxidative Chemistries: Ability to install, startup, commission, and diagnose applications. Must also know how to test and titrate for these free chemical residuals.

How to install and support mobile water treatment operations with the ability to connect and commission processes using 480 3 Phase VAC, 240 3 Phase VAC and 220 Single Phase VAC
Have operated and installed complex to simple water treatment processes, from filtration to Floc and Drop systems with solids control to dewater sludge.
Have experience in plumbing, electrical, welding and fabricating simple to complex water treatment systems.
Ability to travel to all Bosque regions for extended periods as required
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
Ability to speak and write English
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
Able to operate, train, repair, service, educate, mobilize and trouble shoot all processes that are used in the treatment of water for the fracturing process
Must have strong work ethics
Must be well organized and a self-starter
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Regional visits that may require lifting some boxes/parts, walking yard
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on yards & jobsite locations:
Steel-toed safety shoes - Employee must provide
Safety glasses - Provided by employer
Hard hats - Provided by employer
FRCs (fire retardant clothing) - Provided by employer
H2S monitor & proper Dionix equipment - Provided by employer

Light to moderate physical effort required
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Regularly required to walk, reach and move about the unit and/or facility and electrical equipment
Able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time
Able to work around hazardous chemicals and in Oil & Gas Operational conditions
Ability to be present at field office during denoted work hours, which may be altered occasionally to accommodate delivery of programs
Ability to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, instructions and guidelines
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment
