High school degree or GED.Strongly prefer candidates:With an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.Who currently reside in southeast Colorado.Who have ranch work and fence building experience.SKILLS: See above.DUTIES: Working closely with the Preserve Manager, the Restoration Managerwill:Plan and execute physical work projects on our preserves, including:Building, modifying or removing fences to make our preserves more accessibleto wildlife and to contain our bison herd. Planting trees along stream sides.Creating enclosures to protect trees. Constructing one-rock dams and otherstructures to reverse stream erosion. Surveying and protecting wildlife.Photograph and map project locations (training can be provided).Communicate project results, in written and verbal form. Supervise selectinterns and volunteers to expand the organization's capacity to conduct thiswork.PAY: Compensation is $40,500+, depending on experience.BENEFITS: This full-time exempt position includes salary, healthcare,retirement, and potential for performance-based bonuses.STARTS: As soon as possible.DURATION.
