The Vail Valley Jet Center is a top ranked full-service, independent FBO at the Eagle County Regional Airport. We are dedicated to providing exceptional operational and technical service, handling everything from logistical challenges to basic aviation ground support. We complete major and minor maintenance, including repairs and installations on aircraft ranging from single engine to large jets.

Perform servicing, repair and inspection tasks in the hangar as well as on the ramp in variable and potentially harsh weather conditions
Perform inspections and repairs on GA piston & turboprop aircraft
Carry out AOG and servicing tasks on light through heavy executive and fractional jets in accordance with respective aircraft crew or maintenance control
Carry out contract maintenance work on Q400, A-319, B737 and B757 airliners in accordance with maintenance control
Perform or assist in light aircraft engine runs for troubleshooting and operational checks.
Research manuals, IPC’s, and technical support for parts and information
Inventory and order parts as required for repairs or to retain stock supply
Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with both customers, teammates, and supervisors
Use and drive heavy machinery such as forklifts; aircraft tugs; man lifts and more
Adapt to seasonal workload – weekends, holidays and late hours will be required
Be available for callout via phone day or night during workweek
Comply with and satisfy the needs and demands of FAA and Airline inspectors
Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders of the Vail Valley Jet Center and the Eagle County Regional Airport
Comply with the FAA – DOT Employer Drug and Alcohol substance testing program
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 90 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and smell. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
High School Diploma
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required
Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security ID badge
Must have an Airframe & Powerplant license
Minimum 3 years’ corporate / commercial / piston experience preferred
FAA Inspection Authorization preferred
Factory Training preferred (Dassault, Citation, Gulfstream, etc…)
