JOB DESCRIPTIONOPERATING ENGINEERESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to organize and prioritize multiple tasksPerform daily inspection rounds of building equipmentStrong financial acumenAudit, compliance and HSE deliverablesUtility tracking and energy managementExecution of preventative maintenance, work orders and change managementticketsCritical parts procurement and inventory managementContract / sourcing supportMaintain up-to-date files of building plans, equipment specifications, andall maintenance logsOn-call support for after-hours emergenciesProactively complete all required annual trainingVendor oversight and performance managementPerform hands on maintenance and operation of building systems for the safe,efficient, and proper operationsAbility to schedule and prioritize work for themselves and others to maximizeefficiency and minimize overtimeComprehensive knowledge of Safe Work practices especially regarding energizedwork, working at heights and confined spacesStrong customer service and communication acumenAbility to think critically and perform risk assessments under potentiallystressful situationsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have the education andknowledge to perform each essential duty, listed above, in accordance withstandards set up by Jones Lang LaSalle for this position.
