DescriptionJob SummaryResponsible for planning scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance forthe assigned fleet. Compile information, build work packages and planworkloads to expedite the maintenance and repair of the assigned aircraftfleet.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Prepare work packages on all assigned aircraft, M facilities andmaintenance bases and/or 145 repair stations for heavy maintenance or majoralterations. Manage maintenance plans to achieve a 95% inspection/task yield rate Work closely with component planning to schedule work of time controlledparts and repetitive inspections to be performed by maintenance personnel Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehousing and the AOG Buyer to insureavailability of required parts tooling and components at the M facility orbase Ensure all requisitions for pre-planned parts and tooling orders areperformed on time and within SOP requirements Participate in Coordination and Pre-dock meetings with 145 repair stations(heavy maintenance planning only) Schedule work compliance on all EOs, EAS and FCDs issued by Engineeringfor base or M facility accomplishment Coordinate with M facility leads or 145 repair station managementconcerning available manpower and tooling to support planned/schedulemaintenance and adjust work packages are necessary based on allocations.Conduct weekly planning meetings with area/region. Schedule MEL deferrals to include materials and tooling to supportdeferral in base, line or heavy maintenance work packages Prepare weekly base task listing (line and base planning only) Provide assistance to Base/Line mechanics entering data into Ramco andAir Vault to close out daily work as needed. Provide assistance to Vendor 145repair stations entering data into Ramco and Air Vault to close outworkpackage Audit completed work packages to transfer any deferred work and ensurework packages are closed out. Notify management of any discrepancies, delaysor issues with work packages.Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling 0%Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendanceis an essential function of the position. Inaccordance with applicable laws, Air Methods will provide reasonableaccommodations that do not create an undue burden so disabled employees mayperform the essential functions of the position.Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 to 5years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience 1 year of aviation maintenance operations planning experience preferred 3-5 years Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) experience Airframe and Powerplant License or equivalent military experience preferredSkills Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135 and Part145, Part 135 maintenance program experience Manages fluctuating priorities based on unforeseen process and resourcechallenges, defined projects and leadership prerogatives Planning work assignments, schedules and reviews work in progress Collaborates with various departments to develop statements of work,schedules and procedures
