Responsibilities:
Perform tower modifications, inspections, inventories and audits to meet project specifications
Understanding of plumb & tension, guy wire and anchor work
Tower and monopole foundation modification experience such as, rebar and concrete installation
Utilize standard engineering processes, tools and methodologies on assigned projects
Prepare for project installations by determining required installation methods, and assembling the proper tools and equipment to complete the projects to customer specifications
Act as the onsite competent rigger and execute site specific rigging plans
Erect and climb communications towers and ladders
Obtain required photo compliance and closeout documentation
Oversee crew safety and aid in the design of site specific safety plans
Daily crew time entry
Maintain material inventory on crew truck and warehouse
Participate in scheduled corporate and divisional safety meetings
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of monopoles, guyed, self-support towers and antenna structures
At least three (3) years of experience in Telecommunication and Wireless Construction
Work requires weekend and/or evening work and travel will be required
The position is in Golden, CO and it is preferred if you are located in the greater Denver metropolitan area or are willing to re-locate
Must have a valid driver-s license
Proficient computer skills with windows-based systems
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
Ability to produce professional reference(s) upon request
Professional experience modifying towers
Certified Climber/Rescuer
AWS D1.1 welding certification preferred
Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions per construction drawings
Ability to use a transit; read a compass; set azimuths and down tilts based on specifications
Identify, select and utilize the proper cables, ropes, blocks, and tackles based on the load weight and size
Ability to properly inspect and use personal protective equipment; knowledge of safety standards and regulations
Must comply with Company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) established safety policies and requirements.
