Our Service Center in Golden, CO is currently seeking a Service Technician. This position will be responsible for rotating equipment service and repair for our valued clients.
Works alone or as a team to service and maintain various types of rotating equipment. Frequently working under tight deadlines in the field and/or service center.
Assists in planning, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of new or modified installations for mechanical systems.
Utilizes technical repair reports to accurately document all aspects of the repair estimate, repair, and failure diagnosis.
Works as an “Emergency Responder” on rotation as necessary. Must be able to travel on short notice and work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
Uphold all safety practices and procedures as detailed in the company safety manuals.
Continuous learning of products, applications, technology, market conditions, and competitive.
Qualified applicants will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
High school diploma or GED required; a degree from a Technical or Vocational school in Mechanics or Electronics preferred.
Previous experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair.
Mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously changing field.
Previous experience in the installation and repair of piping systems preferred.
Ability to work overtime on short notice when required.
High-level communication and organization skills, as well as a positive attitude towards customer service required.
Basic computer knowledge required (Google, Word).
Ability to manually lift and maneuver heavy objects, parts, equipment, and materials required (up to 100 pounds).
Ability to work under little supervision.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
The desired candidate will also be highly motivated, willing to challenge and improve the Company's existing processes, and must be adaptable to perform other duties as needed.
