Position Summary:-

This position performs general non-climbing construction of cellular sites.

Duties and Responsibilities: -The essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position are as follows:

  • Safety first in everything we do.- Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies and be continuously aware of surroundings.

  • Provides general labor on construction sites, supports with trench digging and closing, and places conduit as directed by Foreman or Supervisor.

  • Accurately follow instructions and complete assigned course of action in accordance with scope of work and methods of procedures (MOPs) and track work via checklists.

  • Accurately and timely document job costs, including labor hours and material.

  • Read customer blueprints and execute scope of work per the customer-s specifications.

  • Perform cellular radio and antenna swaps, legacy cable plant upgrades from coaxial cable to fiber, site upgrades and capacity expansion, cabinet placements and grounding requirements.

  • Support with movement of materials and vehicles as directed by Foreman or Supervisor.

  • Other duties as identified and assigned.

Competencies, Education, and Experience:

  • Willing and able to learn new skills and advance in a highly dynamic company with continued education and training opportunities.

  • No prior experience necessary. However, you must have reliable transportation, a drive to be productive and a self-starter, able to work physically hard at times and complete difficult labor tasks.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient working knowledge of the MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn other software as necessary.

Travel:- This position is generally expected to require overnight travel at 10%.- The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

The standard work environment for this position is an outdoors construction or service environment with the ability to work in adverse weather conditions (extreme heat or cold) may be conducted during daylight and nighttime hours.- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally sit talk or hear, and will frequently stoop, kneel, and with or use hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. This position requires climbs of up to 100 to 400 feet.- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.- Hazards include working at heights, varying weather conditions, near RF emitting equipment, and using some heavy machinery (man lifts. Mini excavators or scissor lifts).- This position may require entry into confined spaces.- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.- When possible, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
