Certification OfferedThis is a full-time, year-round position with excellent benefits includingemployer paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with companymatching, vacation, sick and holiday pay, a free family pool pass andother discounts.Shifts may vary depending on business needs and may be a combination of thefollowing: First 6am-2pm Second 2pm-10pm Third 10pm-6amThe primary function of the Pool Maintenance Operator / Security is tomaintain the hot tub / pool waters and pool area in such a way that theareas are safe, secure, clean, and operationally efficient. Maintaincompliance with all relevant standards and regulations, and make sure thepool is ready for use when we open for business.Primary FunctionEnsure common areas, pool decks and grounds are cleaned and maintainedappropriately.Responsible for the proper maintenance and upkeep of the pool and hot tub,and that the pool is always clean and in good operating condition includingvacuuming of pools.Maintain swimming pool(s) and hot tub, tests chemical levels, andadjusts appropriately, where applicable.Cleans and repairs the pools filtration systems, to include backwashing,all filter baskets, skimmer baskets, skimmer cover lids and gates.Adjusts heating and pumping equipment as needed to maintain constantoperation.Prepares a daily service report and testing report of materials used, workedperformed and PH and chlorine results to document health departmentrequirements.Ensures compliance of all applicable laws.Draining and cleaning of pool and hot tub and as needed.Security rounds throughout entire property, observe for security problemsand ensure that all areas are closed and locked during the night and assistwith security related incidents.Respond to alarms, emergency codes, and other requests for assistance.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesCertified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or experience with commercialpool & hot tub maintenance preferred and/or willingness to obtaincertification within 90 days of employment.Prefer pool/hot tub maintenance experience in facilities similar to GHS Pool(recreational pools, hot springs pools, high public presence).One year of demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in generalmaintenance techniques and repair work, preferred.Security-related experience, preferred.Basic mechanical ability and dexterity.Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constantoutdoor work.Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less thanor equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement taskswith assistance.Agility to move up and down stairs, service ramps, or ladders,kneeling, stooping, bending, walking, reaching and using hand andpower tools throughout shift.Adequate computer skills to be able to perform necessary department computertasks (for example, logging maintenance activities, inputting timerecords, inputting preventative maintenance and service information, etc.).Excellent guest relations, communication and written skills required.Ability to work well independently as well as on a team.Ability to follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.Current Colorado Driver's License and clean driving record, preferred.Drivers must pass a Motor Vehicle Records and background check and be 25 yearsof age or older.WE ARE A DRUG FREE WORKPLACE.
