Transwest Inc. RV Service Advisor in Frederick, Colorado

The RV Service Advisor acts as the liaison between the customer and Transwesttechnician when service is required. The RV Service Advisor is responsible formeeting with customers, listening to their concerns about their vehicle,suggesting repair and maintenance services, selling new accessories orreplacement parts as well as keeping the customer informed of the repairservices progress.We offer competitive wages and a full benefits package including medical,dental, life, disability insurance, 401(K), paid holidays, paidvacation/personal time, and an employee car discount program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirect report to Service ManagerListens to the customer description of problems or service needed.Determines the type of service required and creates a repair order (RO).Upsell customers for additional equipment and services.Prepare and present the customer with quotes for all repairs.Obtain customer authorization and signatures for all repairs.Present repair order to techniciansCommunicate with the customer and technician during repairs.Work with the technician to ensure the repair is complete.Answer service calls.Invoicing of RO's.Contact the customer for pick up or deliveryReview work performed with client and ensure that secured payment is madeprior to releasing serviced vehicles.Other duties as assigned by the managerWORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ABILITIESRequired to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations, atthe shop division location.Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping forprolonged periods of time.Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands andarms and lift up to 80 lbs.Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.Normal range of hearing and vision.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLSHigh School diploma or equivalent.3 years previous experience as a service writer or advisor.Knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, drive train and suspension is aplus.Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days andgood standing MVR.Knowledge of computers is a must.Exceptional customer relation skills.Excellent verbal and communication skillsDetailed orientedExcellent organizational skills.Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offerbackground check, physical and drug screening.Date posted: 10-13-2020All qualified applications will receive consideration for employment withoutregard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genderidentity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Transwest is an equal opportunity employer.
