In this position you will be responsible as needed for the delivery,set up and maintenance of medical equipment, oxygen and supplies. As well asthe instruction to patients and/or caregivers concerning proper use andmaintenance of equipment. As a member of the Rotech Healthcare Team, employees can takeadvantage of many great opportunities as part of their careerpath.ResponsibiliAssemblies charts and processes paperwork, including preparation of filesfor the Billing Department and completes batch reports for UPS deliveriesAssists with updating respiratory gridAvailable for on-call assignments as neededBuilds relationships with locations, patients and referral sourcesClears previous day's route and checks all paperwork for accuracy andcompletenessCollects co-pays and deductible amounts.Communicates with patients/clients and referral sources both verbally and inwriting to ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in atimely mannerComplies with all applicable company policies and procedures to meet JCAHO andcompany standardsConducts insurance verification and eligibility for services/productsConducts patient satisfaction calls and acts as patient advocate to resolvequestions or concernsCoordinates, collects and inputs all patient information and new patientset-upsDevelops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid,insurance regulations, products and services offered by the company, andFDA/DOT, JCAHO and all applicable governmental guidelines and regulationsMaintains referral logManages all aspects of intake; data entry, answering the phone, outboundcalling, receiving faxes, maintaining referral source information and logand data input into IMBSMonitors office suppliesPrepares and completes CMNs/SOPs for Sales Reps and documents on tracking logPrepares deposit for location on a weekly basisPrepares tickets for daily routes and coordinates timely fulfillment ofproducts and services ordered.Provides education to referral sources, patients and employees onqualifications for service and 3rd party billingProvides service for walk-in patients and walk-in equipment requestsProvides technical assistance to customers as requiredVerifies Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage informationWorks extensively with e-Intake proprietary system; maintains accuracy andquality control throughout initial patient contact and data inputCompletes all necessary delivery forms and paperwork including, but notlimited to invoices, work orders, manifests and logs, patient careinstructions, route sheets, etc.Delivers equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industrystandards and applicable federal, state and local governmental regulationsDelivers, sets up and maintains equipment at the delivery address usingcompany vehicleDevelops and maintains working knowledge of current products and servicesoffered by the company and all applicable governmental regulationsEducates the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of thedelivered itemsMaintains assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe working conditionObserves additional needs that the patient may have and reports to managementduring morning meetingReports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as requiredWorks with location pe
