Allied Reliability Group Industrial Mechanic/Millwright in Fort Lupton, Colorado

Allied Reliability is seeking an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright to assist with maintaining an industrial aluminum manufacturing facility.

  • Performs accurate and timely set up and startup of assigned production line (includes performing routines, inspections, and audits as required by this position).

  • Operates, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment in a production mode.

  • Performs preventative maintenance (PM's) and overhauls of equipment in non-production.

  • Makes general mechanical and minor electrical repairs to production and facility equipment.

  • Performs general lubrication of production and facility equipment.

  • Performs plant/facility and equipment housekeeping (including proper cleaning of the equipment's lubrication points after proper lubrication, maintaining the facility free of waste, debris, recyclables, etc.). This includes performing all clean up jobs as related to maintenance tasks, duties, and functions.

  • Retrieves and orders spare parts and supplies as needed to accomplish work in a timely manner.

  • Enhances the facility's PM program through recommendations and suggestions for procedures or processes.

  • Participates in departmental QCDSM meetings

  • Assists as needed in other Maintenance Department functions and responsibilities, such as: spare parts management, rebuilding of components, and other duties as needed to meet the needs of the department, plant, or business

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Eligible to work in the United States.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience; minimum 2 years technical training preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in: basic hydraulics, pneumatics, reading hydraulic schematics, fabrication, cutting with a torch, welding with arc welder, reading tap charts, basic layout, blueprint reading, precision measurement, knowledge of bearings, chains, sprockets, troubleshooting, precision alignment of motors and couplings and computer skills.

  • Willingness to work in an industrial environment.

  • Willingness to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, stooping).

  • Willingness to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, 6” top leather steel toe boots, etc.).

  • Willingness to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.

  • Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen
