Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as Facilities Planner . The location of this position is at Fort Carson, CO . The Facilities Planner will serve as the single point of contact for all Mission Training Complex (MTC) facility utilization issues. Identifies and implements all applicable government regulations, policies, and procedures. Plans, coordinates, and supervises MTC facility scheduling, utilization, future requirements, and medium to large collective training ensuring events are scheduled and resourced
Responsible for the management, maintenance, and upkeep of a widely dispersed MTC footprint; requires routine coordination with installation Directorate of Public Works (DPW) on behalf of the government staff so that work orders are executed quickly and to standard. Responsible for the Tactical Pad training standard operations and operating procedures, to include shore power and associated permanent and temporary facilities. Also facilitates supply activities in coordination with the government supply representative. Assist units with TOCPAD establishment to include emplacement, safety, waste/debris management, and power distribution planning. Planners must be able to be licensed to operate large machinery. Planners are responsible for facility tours and briefings to interested parties and must be prepared to assist the MTC in additional duties as required. Provides scheduling support, reports collating, operates security systems to include LENEL and JPAS. Builds badges and coordinates with MTC staff leads to synchronize daily operations. Coordinates facility work orders and building access. Additional duties as assigned by the MTC site lead and Deputy Site lead.
Bachelor's degree with 3 years' of experience, Master's Degree with 1 experience, 4 additional years' of experience may be used in lieu of a degree
10 years' experience working at a Mission Command Training Complex
Experience with Army property / supply accountability procedures involving facilities, supplies, and automation equipment
Must possess SECRET clearance
Detailed understanding of MCIS (Mission Command Information Systems) (CPOF, JCR, AFATDS).
Must be able to perform duties outdoors during varying weather conditions and lift/carry loads up to 50lb
IAT Level I certification and experience in IT
Hazardous Material Handling experience
Environmental Protection Training
