Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities. Mayinvolve supervising one or more trade groups or sub-contractors (Firealarm, Low Voltage, etc.) working in a particular construction discipline.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS1. Plan and supervise craft activities including method of construction,manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources,work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.2. Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, companydepartments, or other contractors.3. Maintain liaison with engineering and planning to ensure work complies withdrawings, specifications, and schedule.4. Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, workinterfaces, etc.) as required.5. Assist Human Resources in maintaining communications regarding employee jobsite performance as well as attendance and reviews.6. Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements;document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.7. Maintain liaison with vendors and Inspectors to ensure all requiredmaterials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities andproject schedule.8. This position is required to drive.9. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. Minimum Qualifications:Completion of a four-year accredited electrical apprenticeship program,four-year college degree or equivalent combination of technical trainingand/or experience. Minimum of four years supervisory experience in similarfacility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and workprocedures required. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver'slicense according to legal requirements. Valid Colorado (or reciprocal) JWlicense. OSHA 30 certification a plus. Advanced blueprint reading andinterpretKEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESAdvanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and abilityto control and ability to supervise ten to fifty employees is essential.
