The job responsibilities include:
Performs a variety of tasks in support of survey or construction activities.
Duties may differ depending on the specialty area.
Activities may include inspection of engineering installations for compliance with specifications; maintaining project documentation; assisting with the building, repair, or maintenance of a structure or roadway.
Relies on general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to plan and accomplish moderate goals.
Works under direct supervision.
Performs assignments of varying scope and complexity. Uses a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques in solving problems. Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations
State DOT and inspection or construction experience
Good active written and verbal communication with construction personnel and engineers
Ability to perform basic computations and calculations
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
Valid Driver's license, with good driving record
Adheres to client requirements for project administration, AECOM methods, AECOM Safety requirements, and AECOM Quality requirements.
Weekend and night work may be required
Overnight travel within the state may be required
HS + 2 years of transportation construction or other civil project experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
3+ years of transportation construction or other heavy civil inspection experience
Experience supporting CDOT projects
ACI or ICC certifications
