What You Will Do

As the Sr Manager of Apparel Operations at The North Face, you will lead and enable the operational success of the product creation team as they shape our Global Vision & build product of the future – with a sharp focus on the apparel development engine. You will assume responsibility for structuring and managing key internal processes ensuring they are efficiently and effectively executed, as well as continuously partner with the Global GTM (Go-To-Market) & Operations Team to ensure flawless execution to the GTM Objectives. The role of the Sr Manager of Apparel Operations is inclusive of delivering the following:

Drive GTM Process | Multi Season Management | Milestone Execution | Critical Communication | Cross Functional Alignment & Resolution

How You Will Make A Difference

  • Seasonal GTM Management: Engage with Global GTM & Operations Team to structure and build seasonal detailed calendar.(cadence of activities, objectives, agendas, materials and logistics for key meetings)

  • Lead & Establish critical business process & detailed calendars in alignment to the Global GTM Process. Lead team to translate the GTM calendar into detailed procedures to achieve on time completion of critical deadlines & execution of inputs required.

  • Lead & Facilitate Cross Functional Discussions inclusive of: Internal Ways of Working & Decision Rights Process Alignment, Structure of Time, GTM as well as Sourcing Allocation Planning, Development Trips, Fit Sessions, Legal Patents & Partnership Contracts, Material Liability Reconciliation.

  • Critical communication. Communication will be quick to action, clear and precise, to cover triage procedures and calendars.

  • Drive against issue resolution and establish key opportunities to ensure operational excellence within the organization

  • Create standardized tools that enable the team to execute, including streamlined performance reporting, GTM tools, and Milestone Presentations.

  • Critical Communication with Regional Partners in alignment with GTM Calendar, Milestone Expectations & Deadlines.

  • Responsible for strategically planning events leading up to seasonal milestone meetings to ensure team and cross function alignment.

  • Project Lead: Key Process Improvement Initiatives, Business Systems, Product Initiatives, Launch new processes with detailed roll out documentation inclusive of ownership, process, objectives.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of related professional experience.

  • Educational Position Requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • Product commercialization/production, Operations, Vendor Relations

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team and must have a track record in executing tasks/projects.

  • Excellent project management skills: efficient, organized and collaborative, able to keep track of multiple streams of work and accomplish work through others

  • Capable of driving short term, long term, and complex projects.

  • Collaborative partner with team-oriented approach.

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Understand how to motivate and develop diverse personalities/ talent.

Salary Range:

$120,960.00 USD - $181,440.00 USD annually

Annual Incentive Eligibility :

This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.

Long Term Incentive Eligibility :

This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
