Layne Inliner, LLC is seeking multiple crew members for its Denver Areaoperation. The District Office is located in Kiowa, CO but the work isprimarily Front Range (Denver Area and Colorado Springs Area) withoccasional out-of- state travel.Good driving record is essential and CDL is preferred. Company will assistotherwise qualified candidates in obtaining CDL.POSITION SUMMARY:Support person for field construction activities directly related to thecured-in-place (CIPP) method of pipeline repair. The laborer will work forand take direction from the Field Foreman/Superintendent which may include:Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material,etc.) Use of hand toolsEquipment driving and operation, often in out of town locations Entry intomanhole and underground structuresPump watch and operation Completion of required paperworkThe laborer position requires good work ethic and the ability to understandand follow directions.PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be able to understand and follow the Company's operating procedures andsafety policiesMust take and be able to understand instructions from the field superintendentMust perform tasks in a safe and quality mannerMust accept responsibility delegated by the superintendent for companyproperty and equipment; must maintain and operate that equipment in aclean, safe and mechanically sound conditionMust accurately and legibly complete all required paperwork which mayinclude, but not be limited to: time sheets, maintenance records,travel logs, DOT paperwork, ISO documentation, etc.Must possess a positive attitude and be able to work with a field teamJOB SPECIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):Must understand and speak fluent EnglishMust be able to understand and follow instructions in the performance of therequired tasks in conformance with the Company's policies and proceduresMust possess a CDL within 90 days of employment; Must also possess a drivingrecord consistent with the Company's requirementsMust maintain required certificationsSafety certifications may include Confined Space, Competent Person, 10and/or 30 OSHA, those related to traffic control, as required, etc.Job related certifications may include PACP, etc.Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and adhere to Company'spolicy regarding suchMust work in a manner that will not jeopardize the health and safety ofhim/herself, other employees or the general publicWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:Must be able to travel and be out of town for extended periods of timeMust be able to work with resin and chemicals associated with the installationof cured-in-place liners; A listing and MSDS are available.Must be able to stand much of the day and walk on uneven groundMust be able to use proper lifting technique to periodically lift a minimum of50 pounds and carry it for a minimum of 50 feet; Must be able toperiodically direct lift up to 100 poundsMust be able to use proper lifting technique to periodically lift 20 to 40pounds overheadMust be able to enter and exit structures (manholes, vaults, etc.)leading to underground pipelines and safely work within these confined spacesin accordance with applicable Federal, State and Company safety guidelinesMust be able to work in elevated situations; Must be able to ascend anddescend a minimum 25' ladderMust be able to bend and turn at the waist as well as squatMust ...
