The Superintendent will oversee the installation phase of projects. He/she will direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and organized for maximum efficiency of production. Projects will generally vary in size from medium to large.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate with Floorz in house team for successful project completion
Manage field personnel to ensure installation is per contract documents
Keep field drawings updated and current
Installed materials are submitted and approved
Schedule manpower to meet required project schedule
Schedule material deliveries / produce warehouse pick tickets
Verify material usage rates and inventories
Attend weekly foreman's meetings
Perform basic/detailed QC inspections
Perform safety inspections, providing solutions for unsafe conditions
Complete EWA tickets
Determine on-site material needs
Manage punchlist completion
Understand effect of decisions on budget
Foresee installation hurdles and make plans to accommodate in advance
Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in flooring construction. Comparable experience will be considered
Candidates with high attention to detail and a drive to succeed are encouraged
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Position will require you to be on job sites 90% of your worktime
Possibility of limited night / weekend work as project schedules dictate
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Successful candidate will have excellent communication and coordination skills
