Join a global company and have theopportunity to manage your own plant in an environment focused on safety andteam development.We have an opening for a Plant Manager at our helium liquefaction facility inDoe Canyon, Colorado located outside of Cortez in Cahone County.The facility's front-end purifier process is a first of its kind consistingof a CO2 Column feeding a PSA of which helium is then liquefied in thecryogenic liquefier. Both reciprocating and screw compression will be used andthere will be additional challenges surrounding Light, and Noise pollutiondue to state regulations. In addition, there will be a small nitrogenliquefier of 16 tons a day to minimize hauled in LIN requirements. The feedgas for the facility will be supplied by neighboring facility Kinder Morganconsisting mainly of CO2 in which all but a minimal amount, must be returnedback to their facility.As the Plant Manager, you would lead a team of 8 operators, 4 mechanicsand a Site Supervisor. The Doe canyon facility is a helium liquefier supplyingour global market.You would be responsible and accountable for maintaining the safety andenvironmental standards, the safety and well-being of the employees,overall maintenance and production. The candidate is responsible andaccountable for reliability, maximizing efficiency and productivityresults, labor costs and specific site cost centers as well as developingthe TAdditionally the manager is responsible for the maintenance, project work,reliability, HR issues, leadership, manpower resources, cost controland asset management through relationships and alignment with horizontallyintegrated functional support organizations. The position reports to the LineMgr.
