We areseeking a Maintenance Mechanic at our Denver, CO facility.Description:The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairingbreakdowns on plant equipment, machines and facilities as they occur. Thisposition will schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities asrequired. Order and maintain appropriate parts in stock to minimize downtimeon equipment. Insure that all repairs are done in a safe, timely and costefficient manner.Perform repairs and maintenance to equipment in a timely, complete and costeffective manner.Provide and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all plantequipment.Purchase maintenance parts for plant equipment.Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, lock out tag out requirements,and plant procedures.Maintain a cost effective spare parts inventory as required.Insure that the maintenance shop and tools are maintained in a clean andorderly fashion.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and PLC control problems with plantequipment.Communicates with Plant Manager on maintenance schedules and production needs.Responsible for maintenance repair budget.Review all processes and procedures seeking ways to increase safety andproductivity.Position Requirements:High School graduate or equivalent; College or technical training preferred.5 years of manufacturing plant maintenance experience.Previous experience with plastics equipment a plus.Experience with AB PLC and electromechanical skills a plus.Ability to fabricate repairs, weld and use acetylene equipment as needed.Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Position requires long periods of walking, standing, climbing,bending, stooping and twisting.Must be capable of troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical,pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Experience in DC and AC drives.Good verbal and written communication skills.Familiar with Excel, Word and email programs.Ability to work under time constraints in a fast paced environment.Ability to work at heights up to 60'.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including health,dental, life, and a generous 401(k) matching contribution.
