This employee may be assigned to lead a team of 3-5members safely and productively on a small project, with the goal ofcompleting tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency, whilepracticing professionalism for optimal job performance.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core Duties and Responsibilities:Safety is E2's number one Core Value. Follow safe work practices and companyand client work site policies.Promotes company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture.Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of theinstallation processReads and interprets all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheetsProperly sets up a variety of copper and fiber testersPerforms system testing and troubleshooting as requiredTerminates, labels, tests and troubleshoots optical fiber and copperinstallations.Proactively lead teams of 3-5 Technicians and Installers to complete projecttasksAdequately train Technicians and Installers to complete all the tasks andresponsibilities of their positions.Assist in developing Technicians to complete all the tasks andresponsibilities of a Lead TechnicianProactively oversee and lead job site organization and basic housekeepingmaintenance.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanorMaintain satisfactory compliance with customer security requirementsExcel in technical tasks such as testing and troubleshootingFull working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:High school diploma or GED requiredFiber Optic Association CPCT preferred. Must be earned once hired.Fiber Optic Association CFOT preferred. Must be earned once hired.In-house Certified Training Required (company provided): OSHA 30,Manufacturer Fire Stop training, Hilti Powder Actuated Tools, E2 ScissorLift Safety, E2 Fall Protection, E2 Confined Space Entry, and FirstAid/CPR preExperience:Minimum 2 - 5 years' work experience in Structured Cabling or relatedindustry/construction experience.Read, write, and understand EnglishAble to distinguish color codesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Ability to understand and effectively explain every aspect of the structuredcabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbonecopper, backbone fiber optic, cross- and inter-connections, and testing.
