In the role of Inventory Control Technician working in Denver, CO you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team. This individual will maintain accountability for inventory accuracy and control including product, dunnage, pallets, empty kegs, and glassware. You will also maintain responsibility for processing returned product and repackaging as necessary.
This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and works closely with our Warehouse Production and Delivery teams.
This position works Monday through Friday; 3 AM start time to work 8 to 9 hours thereafter (depending on the season/company volume).
Conduct accurate daily inventories of product stored in the warehouse within company-defined time constraints
Collaborate with accounting personnel to research and adjust discrepancies between physical count and book inventory
Verify items and quantities of repackaged items daily; ensure that repackaged product is accounted for and up to brewery standards before returning to circulation
Check in returned product from incoming drivers following delivery, ensuring the accuracy of product returned
Understand, follow, and partner with Warehouse personnel to assure quality standards are followed during product moves to ensure proper rotation and FIFO methods were used
Sort, process, and clean all breakage
Maintain extensive knowledge of code dates in order to track dates of all product in the warehouse
Train all temporary employees in repack procedures as needed
Other duties as assigned
The Other Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid high school diploma or GED
Must be physically capable of handling/lifting up to 30 pounds as many as 300 times per shift and up to 45 pounds intermittently throughout shift.
Moving and stacking pallets weighing up to 65 pounds throughout shift
Periodic lifting above shoulder height
Proficiency in Excel required; previous experience with VIP preferred
Working schedule: some weekend work may be assigned, flexibility in start and end times may be required
Strong oral and written communication skills required
