HVAC/R Journeyman, Engineering Operations (Job ID: 2098)Job SummaryUnder general supervision, performs skilled trades work in themaintenance, repair operation and/or installation of a variety ofequipment and/ or facilities requiring certification in skilled trades suchas heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration stationaryengineering, steam fitting or steam and hot water, and standardperformance in other skilled trade areas.Education1. Graduation from high school or GED certificate.Experience1. Completion of recognized apprenticeship program in the appropriate tradearea or three years' experience at the apprenticeship level of the traderequired.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses,repair, and maintenance.2. Skill in obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment,facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.3.
