OCTANE Forklifts, Inc. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Level III in DENVER, Colorado

Competitive Pay for Qualified CandidatesHeavy Equipment Mechanic Level II .and. IIIAs Heavy Equipment Mechanic Level II .and. III you will work in conjunction withthe Shop Foreman to maintain and service mechanical equipment, machinery,and components. The Level III Mechanic will perform skilled repair services ofmechanical systems, electrical systems, and equipment. Conducts periodicinspections to evaluate requests for repair. This is to be completed in atimely and efficient manner, by diagnosing and repairing problems foundduring inspections.Responsibilities and Duties Conducts inspections to evaluate mechanical issue. Identifies parts needed for replacement. Disassemble broken or defective equipment for repair. Perform skilled repair service. Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts. Perform diagnostics and repair identified issues while performing offsiteservice calls as needed. Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines Assist other workers as needed. Complete all work in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned by management. Typical Work Day will be 7:30 am to 4 pm M-F. Overtime is on anas-needed basis with prior approval by the Shop Manager or the GeneralManager.Skills and SpecificationsCDL preferred Expert ability in diagnostics and repair timeline efficiency. Ability to balance quality and quantity of work to complete assignments. Attention to detail. Ability to approach each work assignment and client interaction in anenergetic, enthusiastic manner and act with urgency. Gain proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Must provide own tools necessary to complete the job on hand. Working knowledge of forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment. 5+ Experience in Diesel Engine/Heavy Equipment, Electrical,Hydraulic, Gas, and Liquid Propane. Excellent communication abilities-Verbal and Written Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking,standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds Frequent exposure to the elements.Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience (up to 40 hours perweek + additional overtime when approved).
