Inland Technologies Glycol Plant Specialist (Full-Time) in Denver, Colorado

Inland Technologies is hiring a Glycol Plant Specialists at our DenverInternational Airport (DEN) - Glycol Recycling Facility location.The Inland Group of Companies is comprised of IDS, Inland Technologies,and Quantem Aviation Services. We offer a full range of airport and airlineservices, from aircraft deicing and spent ADF recovery to cargo andpassenger handling. Our objective is to work continuously to develop servicesand programs that better meet our customers' operational needs.Overview:We are seeking a qualified individual to contribute to our on-going success inthe role of Glycol Pant Specialist. The Glycol Pant Specialist will providemaintenance services on all plant processing equipment, assisting in a widevariety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/orsafety concerns; and ensuring that equipment, tools, materials, andvehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at the jobsiteThis full-time position is located at the Glycol Recycling Facility at theDenver International Airport (DEN) in Denver, CO, and reports to theOperations Manager/Supervisor.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist skilled maintenance workers with equipment operations (e.g. fluidflow rates, completing specific tasks, etc.) to meet plant requirementsand equipment production targets;Maximize equipment operations to meet desired production targets;Coordinate with supervisor(s) for the purpose of completing projects andwork requirements efficiently;Compliance with all environmental laws and permits;Install system component parts (e.g. pumps, valves, blowers,plumbing, etc.) to ensure production rates are achieved;Execute laboratory certification of fluids to meet regulatory requirements;Maintains equipment, tools, and chemicals for the purpose of ensuringavailability in safe operating condition;Participates in meetings, workshops, training, and safety seminars forthe purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to performfunctPerform a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities tocomplete projects within established time frames;Prepare written materials (e.g. repair status, activity logs, etc.)for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information;Transport a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies for the purpose ofensuring the availability of materials required at the job site;Safely operate Glycol Recovery Vehicle, forklift, and other plant vehicles;Working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/ormethods; providing information and/or advising others, and operatingwithin a defined budget.As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent;Valid Colorado driver's license;Must pass the Transportation Security Administration background check;Ability to operate equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools;Handling hazardous materials;Planning and managing projects;Standard methods, materials, and tools used in assigned skilled trade;and safety practices and procedures;Ability to schedule activities, gather and/or collect data;Ability to work well with others;Develop and maintain effective working relationships;Operate equipment using standardized methods;Strong problem-solving skills;Able to adapt to changing work priorities;Display mechanical aptitude;Work under time constraints;Adhere to safety practices and comply with OSHA regulations.Please note: The compensation for this position is an hourly wage of$23.84 which includes fringe benefits ($17.36 Base plus $6.48 Fringe). The salary will be adjusted once the successful candidate is eligible forbenefits.
