Integrated Deicing Services LLC Aircraft Lead Deicer in Denver, Colorado

Integrated Deicing Services (IDS) is hiring Deice Leads for our DenverInternational Aiport Location (DEN) location.Part-Time/SeasonalThe Inland Group of Companies is comprised of IDS, Inland Technologies,and Quantem Aviation Services. We offer a full range of airport and airlineservices, from aircraft deicing and spent ADF recovery to cargo andpassenger handling. Our objective is to work continuously to develop servicesand programs that better meet our customers' operational needs.POSITION OVERVIEW:IDS is currently looking for Aircraft Deice Leads to keep up our level ofcommitment to safety and operations. In this role, you will work directlywith the operations team de-icing aircraft for our customers. No experienceis necessary, we will train you. Join our team and build a long-term careerwith us.RESPONSIBILITIES:Supporting the company Mission Value Purpose (MVP).Assisting the station management team with the responsibilities of the overallsafety and performance of the deicing operation.Supervise and provide direction for aircraft deicers relating to daily jobduties as required by Integrated Deicing Services (IDS) and our customers.Conduct training and continual coaching of employees to ensure a safeenvironment during the de/anti-icing operation and all company policies andprocedures are being followed correctly.Uphold and follow the duties related to de/anti-icing aircraft according toprocedures for both airlines and IDS (including inspecting aircraft forfrozen contamination).Participate in the pre-planning for the de/anti-ice event (perform checkson equipment, trucks, servicing equipment with fuel or glycol).Ensure proper shutdown of pads, including paperwork and logbooks; that allmaintenance issues have been logged and reported to maintenance, and allproper shutdown procedures for the equipment are followed.Monitor condition of all operational equipment (fuel, fluid, radiobatteries, etc.) and report all maintenance issues to the supervisor andthe maintenance departmentCompliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:Valid US driver's license.HS Diploma or Satisfactory completion of GED and professional experience.Successful completion of required airport badging process and pre-employmentdrug screen is required.Successful completion of all IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training.Possess Airport/Airline or similar industry operational experience with abackground in safety and regulatory compliance.Intermediate computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft programs(Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).Ability to speak English in a clear, concise manner in order to communicatewith coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the UnitedStates and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or inthe future for employment.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, orfeel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speakclearly, and hear efficiently.Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Employees must have the ability to climb 15-foot heights for work.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distancevision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and theability to adjust focus.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, making decisions without regard torace, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation,gender, gender identity, veteran status, disability, or any otherprotected claEEO is The Law - click here for more information: endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
