In this role, you have the opportunity to
As a Metrology Lead/Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to independently test, calibrate, and repair analytical, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards within an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Assure compliance of internal and external testing regarding regulatory and company requirements. We will be evaluating, developing, establishing and maintaining calibration methodologies, systems, and practices which meet world class standards.
You are responsible for
Supervise or lead calibration technicians to meet department goals while delivering top quality.
Conduct physical calibrations such as, but not limited, to calipers, micrometers, torque tools, ovens, temperature controllers, gage blocks, surface plates, pressure gages, scales, and force gages
Test, calibrate, and certify instrumentation.
Plan, coordinate, and expedite daily calibration projects and production
Maintain, establish, and document accredited capabilities
Coordinate with internal customers and external service providers
Generate, maintain, and develop KPIs for laboratory activities
Development of calibration procedures and methods to support specifications, blueprints, drawings, and other technical requirements.
Maintain detailed records of all calibration work performed, write reports, and generate calibration certificates.

Our solutions combine navigational tools such as catheters and guide wires with advanced software to help confirm the optimal treatment at the point of care: measurement technology, procedure-specific application support and on-board imaging and monitoring with improved anatomical and functional information to optimize therapy delivery. The IGT Devices organization consists of three segments: Coronary, Peripheral Vascular and Electrophysiology.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
Bachelors of Science with at least 5+ years of experience or 10+ years equivalent work experience
2+ years of supervisorial or leadership experience
Air Force PMEL training highly preferred
Have or ability to obtain and maintain ASQ CCT
Excellent organization skills
Experience with Fluke Met/Team and Met/Cal is preferred
Strong understanding of technical writing
Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 98 preferred
Experience in conducting uncertainty analysis and test method validation
Ability to provide sound metrological guidance to engineering
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Comfortable in fast pace, high demand environment while working independently
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
On-call as needed
Travel may be required on occasion
