SecurCare Self Storage is a privately held Company based in Lone Tree, Colorado. It was founded in 1988 for the business of developing and acquiring Self Storage facilities. SecurCare Self Storage is the parent company of SecurCare Management LLC.

Since our founding, SecurCare has built its business to 200+ stores in 14 states. These stores are branded SecurCare Self Storage.

Job Overview:

As the full-time Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and taking care of maintenance items for your assigned facilities while adhering to SecurCare cleanliness and maintenance standards. In addition, you may also be responsible for acquiring bids and overseeing jobs that are out of the scope of the normal Maintenance role. You may be required to complete yard work including but not limited to cleaning, mowing, weed eat, blow leaves and clear debris from the properties. The ideal candidate will be a general handy-person and understands that general knowledge and experience is required in this role and a drive to help the facilities succeed!

This position requires the following:

  • Must have valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

  • Must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check.

  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Reports to Area Manager.

  • Days off will vary.

  • Will be required to be outside for extended periods of time during inclement weather.

  • Light to mid-level physical activity, MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50+ lbs without assistance.

  • Accurate filing and record keeping.

  • Ability to work as a Relief Manager from time-to-time in the stores when necessary.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.

  • Must be able to multi-task, will be performing light maintenance for multiple stores.

  • Basic Math Skills.

  • Light computer knowledge required to submit timecard, expense and petty cash reports.

  • 1+ years of experience in a maintenance or handy person role. Recent experience a MUST!

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus but not required!
