Fleet Maintenance ManagerNOTE: The following position is for proposed new business within FirstTransit. Reviews financial and budget variancesand accounts payable documentsEnsures a safe environment exists and all maintenance activities are incompliance with State, Federal and Company requirementsInitiates and implements projects that improve efficiency and/or reduceoperating costs.Supervises bus fueling, building and grounds keepingCompletes special projects as assigned. Required to perform hands-on workactivitiesMaintenance Manager job requirements:Technical training preferredValid driver's license; CDL preferred5+ years of hands-on mechanical supervisory experienceDirect automotive, diesel or alternative fuel repair experienceLeadership and team-building skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent computer skillsASE Certifications strongly preferredMay require lifting of up to 50 lbsSubject to background check and drug screenFirst Transit is a leading provider of transportation contract and managementservices, moving more than 350 million passengers annually.
