Professional Contract Services Irrigation Tech in Colorado Springs, Colorado
- This procedure will define the responsibilities and duties of the Irrigation Tech Helper. This position will perform a variety of labor intensive work. This position will report to the Project Manager.
The overall responsibilities of the Irrigation Tech Helper fall into the following areas:
Operates tools and equipment to assist with irrigation activates including digging holes, setting up sprinkler systems and general ground maintenance.
Will maintain irrigation equipment as assigned which may include sprinklers, water lines, pumps and valves.
Inspect, adjust and repair equipment as instructed by the Irrigation Supervisor.
Ensure all company equipment and vehicles are operated and maintained properly.
Maintain all safety standards on the job.
Other duties as assigned.
- Use of landscaping equipment.
- High school graduate.
- Minimum of one year experience in landscaping and irrigation systems.
6.0 Physical Demands
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry materials and supplies weighing up to 60 pounds and push up to 100 pounds; prolonged standing and walking
Finger dexterity is required to operate equipment.
7.0 Mental Demands
Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations
Ability to communicate both orally and in written format
Ability to work as a team member
Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision
