Fire Alarm Inspector V (WD30100184255)What you will do Fire Alarm Inspectors are responsible for conducting routineinspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance onElectrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well assimilar competitive manufacturers' product lines. Work with low voltagewiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communicationdevices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy. - Follow and maintain ahighly structured inspection schedule. - Input, retrieve and archiveinspection documents via laptop computer. - Complete assigned inspections ontime. Perform other duties as assigned. - Identify deficiencies as per NFPAcode and quote and repair as needed.QualificationsHow you will do it Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems andperforming necessary repairs. - Ability to follow verbal and writteninstructions. - Proficiency with using PCs including working knowledge of MSExcel / Word as well as iPhone apps. - Capable of performing physical laborto include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs. - Able towork in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders,scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts,crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. - Ability to work flexible hoursincluding weekends to meet customer requirements. - Willing to travel out oftown including overnight lodging. - Demonstrate a high level of customerservice. - Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision. - Abilityto adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures atall times. - Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and anability to learn quickly. -Possess a valid driver's license and drivingrecord that meets company requirements. . - Able to obtain and retain anylicenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
