Job Summary:

The Concrete Foreman has the responsibility to run every aspect of a concrete pour including forming and finishing. Positive client interaction is a must, as well as effectively leading a crew.


  • Oversee the concrete calendar

  • Work with the landscape supervisors to efficiently work with the landscape install crews

  • Coordinate concrete, pump, and finishers

  • Walkthrough the concrete details with the client and Estimator

  • Effectively manage finishers and laborers time on jobsites

  • Install concrete jobs

  • Layout the concrete, establish grade, fill and compact, place forms, tie rebar, pour and finish concrete

  • Strip forms and thoroughly clean up

  • Stain and seal decorative concrete

  • Maintain a high level of quality throughout the concrete process

  • Growth and improvement

  • Developing and implementing better concrete installation practices

  • Look for ways to grow and improve concrete install, focusing on quality

  • Coach and develop the finishers/laborers under you to grow as leaders into the next level

  • Misc Tasks

  • Helping with hiring and training events

  • Continuing education and leadership events

  • Snow removal

Specific Job Details:

  • A commitment to full working hours (40-55 hrs/week) throughout the complete season (April-October) is required for this position.

  • Winter schedule will include cold weather landscape projects, fire mitigation, snow plowing, additional training, attendance at home show weeks.

  • Other job tasks as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 4 years of experience within the concrete industry, two of which must be in concrete finishing.

  • Agreement to the Fisk Lawnscapes Code of Conduct.
