What You’ll Get to Do:

Liaison/Project Manager to be part of a team that manages engineering projects in support of the Air Force Satellite Control Network. The AFSCN links satellite operations centers with world wide remote satellite tracking stations.

More About the Role:

You will be acting as the liaison between the project manager and the subcontractors assigned to the projects. You will be responsible for working closely with the project managers to track subcontractor scope, budget and schedule to ensure the project is within budgetary guidelines and on schedule. Does not have formal supervisory responsibility, although may provide input for performance appraisal.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field and 4-7 years engineering experience including management of small projects.

4 years experience with:

• Experience with program or project management skills

• Technical proposal preparation with emphasis on subcontractor statement of work

• Management of projects with subcontractor participation

• Preparation of Statement of Works, RFPs and Purchase Requests

Proven track record of:

• Experience in teamwork and problem solving.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
